One last thing.  Carole Smithies (thanks Carole!) will be taking the roll call and doing her Brian Hanrahan impression – “I counted them out and I counted them all back again”.  If any of you start the walk and either drop out or will be very late arriving at the Ramblers then try to phone me or Carole but if either of us don’t have a signal (very bad reception in Edale) then phone the Rambler Inn and leave a message for us.
Hope to see many of you on Saturday.

  1. Hi Ian

A big thank you for another memorable Marsden Edale.
Thanks also to Carol and John and anyone else involved.

Hats off to Granville for fantastic support on the hill – can’t work out how you managed both locations – anyway well done it wouldn’t be the same without you.

    Owen Smith
