Tuesday lunchtime climbing

A number of members meet on a Tuesday at Stockport wall for their lunchtime deal from 11:30-2pm. Includes a free hot drink (which we usually have after climbing).

Roaches, Wed 10th August

The afternoon was fine at the Roaches last Wednesday so a few of us got in half a dozen climbs before the impending rain made itself felt, at which point the pub beckoned. Hope the rest of you made it to the wall.

A turnout of 9 and good conditions for climbing with a cool but welcome breeze which quickly dried the rock after a light shower mid-afternoon and later kept the midges away. High Moss 21/22 May

Weather turned out ok by Saturday afternoon so everyone got out on both days doing all sorts of activities – and I finally got to climb at Wallowbarrow! 🙂  

Roaches Wed 5th August

The evening forecast put off most but in the afternoon I was able to enjoy a good walk along the ridge – the views are amazing – and before the rain came in we managed one good long climb so all in all a worthwhile outing.
