Alternatively it might also be of interest to those regular guests on meets who would …

The evening forecast put off most but in the afternoon I was able to enjoy a good walk along the ridge – the views are amazing – and before the rain came in we managed one good long climb so all in all a worthwhile outing.

End of my sons 3 peak challenge

I would just like to pay tribute to our club and its fantastic hut wardens. This weekend we have had the pleasure of visiting Craigallan and Beudy, as we have not used these two huts as often as High moss,  I have to say they are looking amazing and obviously demonstrate the hard work and …

Shining Clough Wednesday 22.07.15

Shining Clough 004

The rain held off (just about!) and an intrepid few braved the elements to see what Shining Clough had to offer. What started as a speculative trip as so often the case when you make the effort turned in to a good days climbing, culminating in a final climb up Pisa Super Direct behind late arrival Andy Stewart in fantastic evening sunshine. Other classics iticked-off included Pheonix Climb and Via Principa just reward for those that attended.
